I had Leiomyosarcoma 18 years ago, I had everything removed, chemotherapy but no radiation. I was checked every 3 months for about 3 years, then every 6 months, then every year. I have not had any CAT or MRIs ini that last 6 or 8 years. My blood work and everything else has been A-OK. At the time I had the surgery, no one had seen this particular cancer in 40 years. I helped my doctor decide which cocktail I was going to take since I worked at Hercules and we developed the first anti-cancer drug - adriamycin. Of course, that would be part of the cocktail. I did not know until a few years later that they were worried, but I told them God was not ready for me. I had the abdominal surgery and 4 weeks later, had a lung resection because some of the leio was there. They still don't know how it traveled. There was no path. I was a smoker (puffer) but I stopped before the surgery. My prayers are with you. my e-mail: phylvern@att.net

I had a myomectomy in May then a hysterectomy in June when the "fibroid" was found to have high grade lms cells. All pathology from 2nd surgery was benign. What is the recommended treatment now. What should a Dr. do (xrays, scans) when you go for checkups? These are some of my questions.
