I was treated at Mayo Clinic beginning in Jan. 2004, had aggressive treatment of chemo, 8 hours on Jan. 23rd, then again on Feb. 23rd. In March, was advised to do five and one-half weeks radiation, which I did, then abt. one month later had surgery for the tumor which had shrunk considerably. Went back for checkup in July, and wasn't healing properly. Have had a biopsy of the vaginal wall, and am told it is consistent with the slides before when I was diagnosed with LMS in the beginning. Am not sure what to do next. Anything new with you in the way of facts. What are you doing,or what have you found out recently regarding LMS?

Just wanted you to know that I'm still alive and kickin'... well... sort of... On Dec.5, 2001 had a colorectal resection of 2 and 1/2 feet dut to diverticulitis. On April 11, 2002 had a 2 level spinal fusion and lamenectomy of L3 to L5. On Aug. 28th, 2002 had an emergency appendectomy. On Sept. 14, 2002 was assaulted and suffered a spinal compression fracture of L2. On Oct.7, 2002 will undergo spinal surgery called a kyphoplasti in hopes of stablizing the spine.
Other than this stuff, and being unemployed due to my disabilities, everthing's going great!
