Hello, My mother was recently diagnosed with myometrial LMS. I am a biochemistry graduate student, working on a Ph.D. in cancer research, but with a protein pathway different from connective tissue cells. I am trying to learn about the biochemistry of LMS. The literature from PubMed is sort of scarce. I would like to hear from anyone- what have you heard about causes? chromosomal abberations? protein mutations? I would like to research LMS when I have completed my current (Ras protein) thesis. Thanks, Katie
