I have had small lumps behind my ears from around year 2000 - that was over 2 years ago.

They sometimes itch and sometimes painful. And everytime I had them, I felt physically weak like fainting.

One of the most annoying thing is that they go away then come back so I don't know whether they are really serious or not.

I had been to the doctors many times about these lumps yet they say it is just an infection involving the lymph glands.

My health had been unstable all this time, and was even misunderstood as being a hypochondriac!

For the last resort, I recently went to a chinese herbalists - the diagnosis was to do with leiomyosarcoma - which is lumps that could be caused by too much animal fats proteins in the body.

I had been eating quite a lot of meat, fish and dairy so the diet had a lot to do with it.

Now I am taking the chinese herbs as well as adapting to a healthier diet of fruits, vegetables and grains.

Lots of people judged by the outside appearance that I was suffering from malnutrition but in fact, my pale face was due to my body battling against some kind of cancer!

As it is so rare, sadly many doctors do not realise that these symptoms has anything to do with soft tissue cancers - yet at the same time it can kill.

I had been reading many articles about this cancer and found out that it cannot always be cured completely by chemotherapy and so on.

But at least, I have found a way to keep me alive and feeling better at the present.

Now I am learning to live for one day at a time rather than to plan how long I am going to live!

I hope that many others who share this experience, will understand this uncertain road we are facing. It doesn't really matter what treatment you are taking, as long as it works for you. And please don't worry about paying for it, because at the end of the day, it's your health that matters most.

Please take care and don't give up.

God Bless!
