My dad also has LMS in back. He got it taken out. So far. so good. He just gets check ups/ I am getting scared necase now is the time that it starts to rear his ugly head again lik emaybe in the chest or somewhere. Tell me about your experiences. My dad has prerry much lived normally for the lst year and a half when he got his first chest xra I am wrried bu do not want to unnecessari;y a;arm hime.

In may 1998 my mom was diagnosed with LMS. I visited this site then and got a lot of strength by reading about others in the same situation. You can read my story back then at letter no 126. Anyway, my mother had surgery where they removed a tumour in her back and she got radiation. She also got one or two small tumour in her lungs and a huge tumour in one hip. They couldn't remove it because of the big risk, so she was sent home to die. She couldn't walk and was very reduced and we thought we would loose her within short time. Then we heard about Humlegaarden in Denmark. It's an alternative center but it's a doctor that runs it. He's one of the worlds most specialised on cancer. Now, five years later, the tumours has not grown at all, or spread, she's in good shape, she can walk and run, lives by herself and don't get any help at all. The doctor's consider her as well, and they just can't understand it. They didn't think they would see her alive again and now it's been five years without more radiation or operations. She still has cancer, but it's just resting in her body without doing any harm. She has checkups on the hospital every six months. She's giving herself injections every day with different herbs, she's a vegeterian, very consistant with her diet that we learned a lot about on Humlegaarden. She's taking vitamins, but no medicin at all, just the alternative. If you wanna know more about my mothers story and treatment, please mail me. I would be happy to tell you more.
